Back to School season is upon us and we're excited to unveil our new campaign, new school stationery and new colouring contest for our Pelikan Malaysia fans!

We’re ready for another colouring contest for our Pelikan fans this year as part of Pelikan’s Back to School Campaign for 2017/18 by going back to basics and giving you the chance to show off your talents and get rewarded with amazing prizes that include cash and stationery by Pelikan and herlitz! Contest starts on 1st November 2017 and ends on 15th February 2018.

Back to Basics

Pelikan Malaysia organises an annual colouring contest for school going children who are artistic, creative and original with their interpretation of the Back to School themes by Pelikan. For this year, the colouring contest focuses on going back to basics, on learning and development, on arts and crafts, on the school children’s aspirations, ambitions and dreams of their future. Because… it’s the beginning that matters.

Our colouring contest will centre on 2 age groups of school going children who will colour their creative version of everyday school life. Participants are encouraged to create and imagine their ideal classroom scene in which they can learn and develop their knowledge in their favourite subjects, harness their creativity and imagination, and form great friendships with their peers, using only Pelikan colouring products to bring their ideal classroom to life!

The categories and prizes are as follows:

Group A (5-8 years old)

Grand Prize – RM2,000 Cash + Pelikan products worth RM1000

2nd Prize – RM1,000 Cash + Pelikan products worth RM800

3rd Prize – RM500 Cash + Pelikan products worth RM500

12 consolation prizes – RM100 Cash + Pelikan products worth RM250

Group B (9-12 years old)

Grand Prize – RM2,000 Cash + Pelikan products worth RM1000

2nd Prize – RM1,000 Cash + Pelikan products worth RM800

3rd Prize – RM500 Cash + Pelikan products worth RM500

12 consolation prizes – RM100 Cash + Pelikan products worth RM250

 

How to Enter

It’s really simple to be part of Pelikan’s “It’s the Beginning That Matters” Colouring Contest!

  1. Purchase any Pelikan product(s) worth RM30 or more in a single receipt. Keep the receipt as a proof of purchase!
  2. Fill up the Pelikan Best Friends Colouring Contest form* that comes together with a colouring sheet and use your creativity to colour/decorate the colouring sheet (only Pelikan products can be used for this contest).
  3. Mail it to us along with the receipt of your Pelikan product purchase.

* The contest form is available at all Pelikan’s Back to School point of sales (BTS POS). Our BTS POS includes selected outlets of Mydin, AEON BIG, Times bookstores, MPH Bookstores, Isetan KLCC and Isetan The Gardens Mall, Pelikan Store at The Gardens Mall and Pelikan Store online (www.pelikanstore.com). How to Win

  1. We will select the best colouring contest entries based on their creativity, originality, theme, skills and overall design.
  2. We will announce the winners via our Facebook and Instagram pages, so follow us on facebook.com/mypelikan and www.instagram.com/pelikan_malaysia. Winners will be contacted and congratulated personally.
  3. Winners will meet us for a prize giving ceremony at a date and venue to be announced on our social media channels.

Terms & Conditions

  1. “It’s the Beginning That Matters” Colouring Contest begins from 1st November 2017 until 15th February 2018.
  2. This contest is open to all residents of Malaysia aged 12 and below as of 31st January 2018, except for employees and immediate family members of Pelikan Asia Sdn Bhd and their advertising, promotion, event and PR agencies.
  3. There are two (2) age groups for the contest: Group A (5-8 years old) and Group B (9-12 years old).
  4. Only Pelikan products are allowed to be used in both stages of the contest. Participants are free to use any range of Pelikan products, from the colouring to the writing and marking products. The usage of Pelikan products will depend on the skills and creativity of the participant.
  5. Each participant may submit more than one (1) contest form for Stage One, but each form must be accompanied by the proof of purchase of any Pelikan products worth RM30 and above in a single receipt.
  6. Contest form and completed colouring sheet for Stage One must be submitted to Pelikan Asia Sdn Bhd office in Shah Alam, Selangor NO LATER than Thursday, 15th February 2018. Any entries received after this date will not be accepted. Our Shah Alam address is as below;

Pelikan Asia Sdn Bhd, No 9, Jalan Pemaju U1/15, Seksyen U1, Hicom Glenmarie Industrial Park, 40150 Shah Alam, Selangor.

You can also submit your colouring sheet and contest form at the Pelikan Store at The Gardens Mall. The Pelikan Store address is as below;

Pelikan Store, Lot T-202A, Level 3, The Gardens Mall, Mid Valley City, Lingkaran Syed Putra, 59200 Kuala Lumpur.

  1. Any contest forms without the required proof of purchase will not be accepted.
  2. Incomplete, late or tarnished contest forms WILL BE DISQUALIFIED, without prior notification.
  3. Proof of posting cannot be accepted as proof of delivery. Pelikan Asia Sdn Bhd cannot accept responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission and other causes outside its control.
  4. The winners of the contest will be contacted personally. The winners will also be announced in February 2018 and will be invited to a prize giving ceremony to be held at a date and time yet to be confirmed.
  5. Participants are encouraged to ‘like’ the Pelikan Malaysia Facebook page (facebook.com/mypelikan) and follow Pelikan Malaysia Instagram www.instagram.com/pelikan_malaysia to be the first informed on anything related to the “It’s the Beginning That Matters” Colouring Contest.
  6. Winners will be determined at Pelikan Asia Sdn Bhd’s sole discretion based on criteria set by the management. All decisions are final and any request to re-evaluate the winners will not be entertained.
  7. All submitted colouring sheets belong to Pelikan Asia Sdn Bhd and shall be used in this and other promotional activities.
  8. By participating, all winners grant Pelikan Asia Sdn Bhd the exclusive permission to use their names, photographs, voices, and likeness in connection with promotion of this and other contests and waive any claims to royalty, right, or remuneration for such use.
  9. Pelikan Asia Sdn Bhd reserves the right to amend, vary, extend or discontinue these terms and conditions at any time for any reason without prior notice. In the event that any changes are made, the revised terms and conditions shall be posted on Pelikan Malaysia Facebook (facebook.com/mypelikan) page immediately. Please check the latest information posted at the page to keep yourself informed.
  10. By participating, the participants will be deemed to have read and accepted these terms and agreed to be bound by them.
